❤️☕️❤️You guys showed up and showed out getting us to 500 followers since yesterday! Now time for us to hold up on our end of the deal. It’s time to spill the beans ☕️ Hi, Livingston! We’re Abby and Alexis—both proud UWA alumni, community members, and now the faces behind The Dancing Rabbit Cafe. For years, we’ve talked about how much Livingston could use another space to gather. Somewhere to study, catch up with friends, host events, or just sit with a really good cup of coffee. A true third place! That idea always felt beyond our means... until an unexpected opportunity made it feel possible. When a familiar face (Shout out to Valerie Pope Burnes) approached us with the chance to bring that vision to life, we decided to take the leap. The Dancing Rabbit Cafe—a name with local history, that we instantly fell in love with—will be calling this blue building home. Now for the honest part:Our permanent location will not be ready until this summer. I know, I know! 😩 The building needs some TLC, and we want to do this right. That said, we couldn’t imagine waiting months to start serving our community. So here’s the plan ⬇️✨ We’ll be hosting pop-ups and weekend setups in the meantime✨ We’ll be out and about at local events✨ We’ll be learning, listening, and serving as much as we can before opening dayThis gives us time to become even better baristas and business owners, get to know what Livingston loves, and build something worth our community members’ business. Our first pop-up, will be at the Livingston Mardi Gras celebration! 🎭You can expect a signature King Cake Latte (and a few other fun surprises 👀).Thank you for the incredible support already. Truly. We can’t wait to welcome you—first at pop-ups, then through our doors this summer 🤍Follow along for updates, pop-up announcements, and all the behind-the-scenes magic. This is just the beginning. 🥰 ...
